Matador Studio is an independent studio making colorful, easy-to-learn games. Right now we're working on three of them.
3 games in
the works
All three are still in development. Here's what each one is about.
Take back the house
Ember, Chonky and Biscuit want their house back. Room by room, from the living room all the way out to the garden, the trio brawls past runaway socks, dust bunnies, a very determined Roomba and the rest of the household menace.
Progress Testing
Geometric space defense
A toy-box armada of geometric ships holds the gate against waves of blocky space invaders. Merge matching ships to build a stronger fleet and push across ten pastel worlds, each one ending with an alien flagship.
Progress Playable
Carve it, paint it, make someone's day.
Carve a floating block of soap into a little figure, paint it in soft pastels and deliver it to someone who will love it. Order by order, a sunny seaside workshop grows into the biggest soap shop in the city.
Progress Playable
We make games with simple rules, bright colors and a bit of mischief, and we'd rather take longer than ship something half done.
matador. /ˌmæ.təˈdɔːr/ · noun
Not the bullfighters. We chose the word for what it means underneath: silent, deliberate, deadly. The things cats are pretending to be when they nap on your laundry.
